Do you cover hip or elbow dysplasia in dogs?

For some larger breeds, hip or elbow dysplasia can unfortunately be quite common.

Dysplasia is a condition that we may be able to provide cover for, depending on the circumstances. If your pet has not received and treatment, medication or advice for dysplasia in the last 2 years, it would not be excluded from your policy with us.

However, if your pet has been seen by the vet regarding dysplasia in the last 2 years, this would be  classed as a pre-existing condition. You can find out more about how we approach cover for pre-existing conditions here. You can also learn about bilateral conditions here.
